Something must be in the air ... so many weddings and what would be a wedding party without a cake! A very nice couple ordered a special celebration cake: a tandem cake ... because it is their favourite means of transport and they even went from the church to their home by tandem .... how cool is this!
The main part of the tandem is lemon sponge filled with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. It is topped with marzipan and rolled fondant.
One wheel is build with vanilla cupcakes, the second one chocolate cupcakes. Both are topped with vanilla buttercream.
